“Machampane was an unforgettable experience, and one of the more remote locations I have come across in Mozambique. I stayed there with my parents for one night, during which we went on two wilderness walks and ate some great good, I would definitely recommend it!”
“A unique place in the middle of nowhere and laying on the pittoresque banks of a small river. A perfect stay after crossing the border from Kruger NP to Mosambik. Very familiar: only 5 tent-houses consisting of a bedroom, a shower, and an open toilet. A very friendly staff preparing very nice meals, considering you are about 2h drive away from the next town. Walking bush safari along the river (from one hour up to four hours) is a good experience for bird watching as well for all the small life in the bush.
If you are not expecting high comfort and watching spectacular big animals but enjoying a romantic place you’ll feel very comfortable in this site.”
“We stayed for 2 nights in this camp. We made very special friends in this short time. Emilio and his staff take very good care of you. Be sure to take cash money. The nearest city is about a 1 1/2 hour drive away. Use your GPS to find it.”
